Sell cakes and packs from ready stock

You willGive a cake, pack or bottle its own count, so it shows as out of stock when it runs out.

You needInventory in your plan and the item already added to your menu.

Steps

1 Open the itemGo to Items, open the item and find "How is it made?".
2 Choose Ready stockPick Ready stock (cakes, packs, bottles) and set "Low stock alert at" to the level where you want to be told.
3 Add the first stockOpen Inventory, Ready stock and press "Add stock / Production entry" on the item. Choose "Made in the kitchen" (takes the recipe ingredients off your stock) or "Bought / received", and enter how many.
4 Sell as usualEvery bill takes one off. At 0 the item shows as Out of stock and cannot be sold.

The "Made in the kitchen" choice is missing.

It needs a recipe on the item. Add one in Inventory, Recipe first.

What if a bill is cancelled?

A voided or deleted bill gives the count back.
