Know your profit, and hand your accountant a file
See sales, food cost, wastage, expenses and salaries as one profit and loss for any dates. Then export the same period as a Tally voucher file for your accountant.
- Net sales, gross profit and net profit
- Food cost from your recipes, wastage and salaries
- Says when profit is an estimate
- Tally Prime and ERP 9 XML export (beta)
Dishes without a recipe count at zero cost, so the page tells you how much of your sales has a recipe and marks the profit as an estimate until it is complete.
Expenses by category, other income and salaries paid in the period.
Sales, credit notes for refunds, purchases, payments and receipts, each balanced to the paisa.
Bills with a customer GSTIN get their own voucher against that customer's ledger.
Why purchases are not deducted
Stock you buy is not a cost until you sell it. AppZet counts the recipe cost of what was sold, and shows purchases as a memo, so a big stock-up week does not look like a loss.
The Tally export is in beta until an accountant has imported a file in your own Tally. Try it on a test company first.

Common questions
Which Tally versions work?

Does it include GST?
Sales are shown before GST in the profit page. The Tally file posts output CGST and SGST on the sales vouchers.
