What a restaurant POS should do

A POS (point of sale) is where an order becomes a bill. For a restaurant it also has to know the table, the waiter, what goes to the kitchen and how the customer pays.

How it works

    The kitchen gets the order as soon as you save it.

  4. 4 Take payment

    Apply a discount or coupon, then take full or part payment.

Common questions

Can I turn a quotation into a bill?

Yes. A saved quotation can be converted into a sale later. Quotations never go to the kitchen.

Can a customer pay part now and the rest later?

Yes. Choose due payment, enter what they paid, and the rest goes into the due list under that customer.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Bill from the Android app or from any browser on a PC, laptop or tablet.
