Call token 12, and book Saturday cakes today
Give the orders you choose a token number that starts at 1 every day, and book orders for a later date and time with an advance payment.
- Token numbers that restart every day
- Token on the bill and the kitchen ticket
- Book an order for a date and time
- Take the balance and hand over on the day
Each order of the types you choose gets the next token. The kitchen calls it, the customer waits for it.
A settings switch and a list of order types, for example pick-up and takeaway but not dine in.
A birthday cake for Saturday 5 PM: customer name and phone, a note for the kitchen and the advance paid now.
See what is booked, take the balance on the day and hand over. No more paper diary.
Why tokens and advance orders?
At a busy counter customers cannot tell whose order is next. A short token number the kitchen can call solves it without names or table numbers.
Bakeries and caterers take orders days ahead with money in advance. Keeping them in the billing system means the advance, the balance and the pickup are all in one record.
How it works

-

In the POS tick Advance order, enter the date, time, customer and the advance.
-
4
Hand over
On the day open Advance orders, take the balance and hand over.
