Book an advance order for a cake or catering

You willTake an order for a later date and time, with money paid in advance.

Steps

1 Start the orderIn the POS add the dishes and choose the order type, for example Pick Up.
2 Tick Advance orderTick "Advance order (pickup or delivery later)" and fill the date, the time, the customer name and phone and a note for the kitchen.
3 Take the advanceEnter what the customer pays now in Received and save the order.
4 Hand over on the dayOpen Sales, Advance Orders. Take the balance and mark the order handed over.

Why does it ask for a name and phone?

So you can find the customer on the day. Both are needed for an advance order.
