Use the KOT screen in the kitchen

You needKitchens added and dishes assigned to them. A tablet, laptop or TV in the kitchen.
Steps
- 1 Open the KOT boardOpen Kitchens › All Kots. New KOTs appear as soon as an order is sent to the kitchen.
- 2 Filter for this kitchenPick the kitchen, the KOT status and the date range so the screen shows only what this kitchen needs.
- 3 Move each KOT alongTap Start preparing when cooking starts, Mark ready when the food is ready, and Mark served when it reaches the guest.
- 4 Print if neededTap Print KOT to print a paper ticket.
- 5 Cancel with a reasonTap Cancel, choose a cancel reason, add an optional note and tap Cancel KOT. Add your reasons first in Setup › Settings › Cancel reason.
Common problems
A dish never reaches the KOT screen
The dish is not assigned to a kitchen. Open Kitchens and add the dish to the kitchen that makes it.
